A while back I posted about a wetsuit drying clothes hanger that could be used for drying your gi. At the time Hangair was still bringing the product to market, but now it’s been distributed and ready to be ordered.
If you live in a small place, you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to dry a gi day after day. If you don’t have laundry in your unit, washing your gi daily is out of the question, so it’s important to keep it dry and funk-free.
Exos has created high-tech casts that are 50% lighter than plaster and 25% lighter than fiberglass. The casts are dry-heat custom moldable, re-moldable, waterproof,and feature a lace compression system to adjust fit. Also they look effin sweet.
The reduction in bulk makes it a better candidate for training with certain injuries in submission grappling, as long as you don’t hit your training partner with it.
In an interview with BoxingScene.com, boxing legend Bernard Hopkins lets loose with a homophobic tirade on how he feels about MMA.
“Everybody is different. I don’t want to watch two grown men wrestling with panties on. I’m from the hood, we don’t play that. To me, I’m not buying a ticket to watch two grown men with panties on, sweating, [with] nuts in their face. That’s not me. To compare that to boxing is ludicrous. It’s a porno. It’s an entertainment porno,” Hopkins told BoxingScene. “I’m not wrestling a guy with panties on and his nuts in my face, and they call that a sport.”
It’s just one of the many attacks boxing has made against MMA. This one is no less unfounded than any of the others, but this one has more to it. Hopkins seems so focused on panties, sweating, and nuts that you have to kind of wonder what this man has in his closet.
