Well, I’m Thai and the clip was in Thai. This clip came from one of the documentary video that was filmed along the Thai border where these Boxers willingly came across the border to participate in the tournament. During one point of the clip the narrator informs the viewers that the field doctor is present including a Van ready for transportation to near by Hospital if injury occurs. After the last fight the documentary team had offer the Burmese team a medical check up and the transportation to near by Hospital, but were refused by the team members. The team members instead wanted to take the injured and swim across the border back to Burma. Again, theses individuals were not exploited and lured over or are refugees, they participated in the even, defeated and simply refuse the medical attention offered.

This is very sad. I read an article in Stuff Magazine last year that talked about these kids who flee Burma to refugee camps in Thailand. There are some shady promoters in the north west portion of Thialand that offer these refugee children next to nothing to fight. They have minimal training, can’t find any other means of income, and the Thai kids come from the Thai gyms, have trainers, and are building their records. The Burmese refugee kids have no medical assistance and are left maimed, ijured or to die in some instances. It’s really messed up. I love the fighting sports, but these friggin kids have no options and are being exploited.

This burmese fighter aint even a professional fighter. this is just a poor burmese farmer who has been drived out by the military in burma and trying to earn some money for his family. if a proper burmese boxer like wanchai fought a thai, the thai would get made piss
