Pride Final Conflict Absolute 2006

Oh Mylanta. Whole lotta ass kicking over at Saitama Super Arena this weekend, but the ass kicking that exceeded all ass kickings was Wandy vs. Crocop. The staredown was the best. Crocop’s signature stoic “I’m your daddy” stare vs. Wandy’s bouncy stare which usually foretells a mauling.
Fuck yeah.
Josh Barnett made a good showing defeating Nog in a split decision. The pear-shaped pugilist was then unable to beat Crocop. Afterwards, Crocop broke down in an uncharacteristic fit of emotion and confessed in his post-fight interview with Frank Trigg that he was ready to retire if he had not come out on top last night.
Who else wants to see Chuck vs. Crocop? *Raises hand*

I was kind of disappointed. Crocop won without a doubt, but I rather would of seen him win with a submission or knockout-not a poke in the eye.
I DEFINITELY would like to see Chuck vs. Crocop. I think Chuck would be a MUCH better match up with Fedor than Coleman for the American Pride. I mean c’mon, Fedor is undeafeated. Fedor’s gonna make short work of him.

Chuck is not a heavyweight, you dumb monkeys! He wouldn’t have a chance against a Pride heavy. Hell, he doesn’t have a chance against Wand!

Wandy isn’t a heavyweight either. He’s light-heavy… same as Chuck.
Anyway it would just be interesting to see two solid strikers go at it.
