I like fighters who are respectful and humble... fighters who understand that every opponent you defeat just helped you move up. I have no problem with Matt's success. He earned it. I just have problems with his tendency to dismiss people (read cocky). Perhaps the biggest case being while he was coaching on TUF and his attitude toward Von Flue. Granted, Von Flue is the worst fighter I have laid eyes on, but as his coach Hughes had an obligation to support him. Instead, Hughes played cards. I wonder if maybe he just forgot to look down at his WWJD bracelet that one time. The production and sale of these t-shirts just confirms it for me. The guy's an asshole.
